Homecoming, 25 Year Anniversary at Miller South
Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts will celebrate its 25th anniversary with performances scheduled Thursday, May 10th, at 1:00 p.m.; Friday, May 11th, at 7:00 p.m.; and on Saturday, May 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium at 1055 East Ave. Mayor of Akron, Dan Horrigan, will present a special Proclamation from the City of Akron at the Saturday performance.

Over 200 students from the vocal and dance departments will perform with guest alumni under the direction of the vocal teacher, Paul Stewart, and dance teacher, Ashley Watts. The Homecoming performance honors the past 25 years of tradition and excellence at Miller South and looks to the future in the arts and academics that will continue to be offered at the school.

Children from all over the Akron area and its suburbs attend Miller South and this performance will focus on home and what a special place Miller South has in the hearts of students, staff, and alumni. Congratulations to a school and district who have supported and promoted the arts in the wonderful community of Akron!

Tickets are $12.00 for adults; and $7.00 for students and seniors.
