Principal's Message for the Week of September 22nd
Thank you to all of the dads, grandpas, uncles, and other adults who came out to the Father’s Walk on Thursday. It was nice to meet so many of you and reconnect with others. We appreciate your support of the students.
Miller South is in the process of getting a new building! There will be a community open house with the architectural firm designing the building on Tuesday, September 23, at the Kenmore Community Center from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Please come out to see the progress on our new home!
Interim pick up will be on Thursday, September 25, from 3:30 - 7:30 PM. We encourage you to come out and meet with the teachers to build a strong partnership for the year.
We have discovered students bringing items to school such as candy, pop, and energy drinks, to sell to other students for actual money or for Star Bucks, our reward system. Students are not permitted to bring items to school to sell. We will address this with students during morning meeting on Monday, and any student caught selling items will have the items confiscated.
A message from the PTA: This Thursday is the first teacher interim/conference night. PTA provides teachers and staff with a meal during these incredibly long days.
