Principal's Message for the Week of January 5th

Happy New Year!! As we prepare to return to school tomorrow, I want to remind families and students of our procedures so that we can maintain a safe, respectful, and responsible environment.

Entry: Doors 7 and 12 will open at 7:30 for arrival. Both doors will close at 8:00 and any student arriving at that time must enter door 1. Please drive safely in the parking lot and keep your eye out for students crossing and other cars. All visitors entering the building must enter through door 1, go through the metal detector, and report to the office. No visitors should be moving about the building without stopping in the main office first. This ensures the safety of our students.

Safety checks: All students will complete safety checks upon arrival. All phones should be in Yondr bags or turned in. 

Dress code: Students should be dressed appropriately for school each day. Students are not permitted to wear pajama pants or coats, and have blankets throughout the day.

A message from the PTA: Please bring your holiday Acme receipts to school when you return.  Receipts dated through February 15 will earn Community Cashback at no additional cost to you.  Remember to write your child’s name on the back to be entered in the final prize drawing.

PTA has been awarded a grant to host a Wellness Fair.  We need your input to focus on issues and resources that matter the most to the Miller South community as we plan the Fair and decide how best to utilize the grant funding.  Please complete the survey here by January 15.
