Principal's Message for the Week of February 25th
Congratulations to all of our vocal, band, and string musicians who performed this week! You all sounded wonderful and represented Miller South beautifully. It is always amazing to experience your talents.
Please make sure you update your number, email address, and any emergency contact information for your student. You can do this in your Home Access Center. This is important in case we need to contact you throughout the day or on field trips.
We have begun SEL activities during our morning meeting in addition to our PBIS expectations of being safe, respectful, and responsible. The students are doing a great job of interacting with each other daily as we go through these quick activities. Please continue to encourage your child to follow these expectations. Please speak with them about respecting not only the adults in the building but their peers as well. We are noticing more conflict arising and we are working with the students on how to appropriately deal with conflict.
The next PTA meeting will be this Monday, February 26 at 6 pm online. Please join us at this link to discuss the book fair, teacher appreciation, field day, and other fun activities.
The end of marking period 3 is on March 15, 2024. Middle-grade students will be taking their quarterly assessments in math and language arts the week of March 11. Please continue to monitor student academic progress by reviewing Home Access Center weekly.
