Principal's Message for the Week of February 17th

3rd quarter interims will be entered on Tuesday, February 18. Please check your child’s home access to make sure they have all assignments completed by that time. Our interim pick-up will be on Thursday, February 27.

Spring picture day will be on Thursday, February 20. If you would like to purchase spring pictures through Lifetouch you can use the code EVT6R6QCN. Only students who pre-ordered pictures will have their picture taken.

We have a new School Store that is open and available to families!! Families can purchase items at any time. If you place an order and have it sent to the school, we will give you a call once it arrives.

A message from the PTA: Last call for Acme receipts!  All envelopes will be collected on Thursday, the 20th.  The final prize drawing will be held as soon as all receipts are processed.

The PTA has launched a spring fundraiser.  Please see the information letter for more details and special instructions for siblings.  If needed, links to prize/order forms and to create an online account are available.  Any questions should be directed to MillerSouthPTA@gmail.com.

On Wednesday, February 19, Congresswoman Emilia Sykes has an exciting opportunity for middle school girls to participate in Girls in STEAM: Expressions of Empowerment. This special event celebrates Black History Month through art, featuring an educational lecture and interactive art demonstration to inspire and empower young women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Congresswoman Sykes will be in attendance and would love to see students there! Click the LINK to sign up!

Just a reminder that the building does close each day at 4:00 PM. The library is always available to students who need it after school.
