Principal's Message for the Week of November 19th

Good evening STAR families. This is Mrs. Anderson with your weekly updates. This week, the AVID students are planning to bring some friendly college football rivalry and the Ohio State spirit to Miller South as we gear up to beat that team up North!

• Monday and Tuesday AVID students will be selling Buckeye-grams for $2. Students can purchase a sweet peanut butter and chocolate treat to be delivered on Wednesday to a friend or staff member!
• Tuesday: for $1, students can wear their favorite hat (this is a great way to show support for your favorite college team).
• Wednesday: for $1, students can be extra comfy to enjoy their movie afternoon by wearing pajamas to school (Scarlett and grey pajamas are encouraged)!

We still need a few more volunteers to chaperone the pre-Thanksgiving-Break movie on Wednesday in the auditorium. Sign up at this link.

The Miller South Dance Department will hold a Dine-to-Donate fundraiser next Wednesday, November 22nd from 4-8PM at the Chipotle located at 825 W. Market St. A percentage of all meals purchased will go directly to the Miller South Dance Boosters; this flyer must be presented at the location, or the following code must be used for online ordering for pickup: WXY9949. This is the perfect solution for dinner the night before Thanksgiving; you can even schedule your order ahead of time to be picked up during the fundraiser hours- see instructions here.

The last day to send canned goods in for our food drive is on Wednesday, November 22.
