6th-8th Grade Applicants may only audition for ONE Arts Interest Area.  4th & 5th Grade Applicants will audition through the Open Call Process.

Miller South is a Visual & Performing Arts School where the creative and curious learn to challenge, support, and inspire each other. Our unique environment focuses on the Arts and Academics, empowering students to use innovative skills to flourish as people and professionals.

2023-2024 OPEN ENROLLMENT TIMELINE

October 25-November 18 **4th & 5th Grade Applicants

1. Submit Miller South Open Call Application by November 18th

2. Schedule and attend one of 3 Open Call Sessions

3. 2 student references must complete the Electronic Recommendation Form by December 2nd

October 25-December 3 **6th-8th Grade Applicants 1. Select ONE interest area for audition

2. Submit Miller South Audition Form with all required audition materials. (See specific arts requirements) by December 2nd

3. 2 student references must complete the Electronic Recommendation Form by December 2nd

October 24-November 18 APS UPDATE: November 14-December 9 ***ALL APPLICANTS 1. Apply via Akron Public Schools Open Enrollment Process- Link here 2. Select MILLER SOUTH 

3. Review Audition Criteria and prepare proper documents and audition materials.

December 3rd-10th In Person or Virtual Audition Completion (6th-8th Grade applicants only)

End of December 2022 Acceptance Letters sent to applicants

TBD Deadline to accept invitation to attend Miller South if accepted upon completion of the audition process.
