Miller South is a Visual & Performing Arts School where the creative and curious learn to challenge, support, and inspire each other. Our unique environment focuses on the Arts and Academics, empowering students to use innovative skills to flourish as people and professionals.

TIMELINE OF INFORMATION FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT

October 25-November 19
1. Apply via Akron Public Schools Open Enrollment Process- Link here
2. Select MILLER SOUTH 

3. Review Audition Criteria and prepare proper documents and audition materials.
October 25-November 19 4th Grade Applicants

1. Submit Miller South Open Call Application by November 19th

2. Schedule and attend one of 3 Open Call Sessions

3. 2 student references must complete the Electronic Recommendation Form

October 25-December 3 5th-8th Grade Applicants
1. Select ONE interest area for audition

2. Submit Miller South Audition Form with all required audition materials. (See specific arts requirements) by December 3rd

3. 2 student references must complete the Electronic Recommendation Form

December 4th-11th Virtual Audition Completion (5th-8th Grade applicants only)

End of December 2021 Acceptance Letters sent to applicants

TBD Deadline to accept invitation to attend Miller South if accepted upon completion of the audition process.
