Weren't you paying attention to Peg Leg Lattimer, Navigator Marxen or Seabiscuit Skidmore the Hook? We went on the SEVEN SEAS on the SEVENTH DAY of SEVENTH GRADE as EXPLORERS on a SCAVENGER HUNT. Students learned about important resources all day -- Three mermaids introduced the ABCs, they looked for treasure in the LRC (books!), they had SEVEN TASKS including FIND WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT SEVENTH GRADE.
